I started seminary in September of 1994. I took a full load for one year - it almost killed me. I skipped a year and then started taking either one or two classes a semester. I finally graduated in 2007. The ceremony (pictures are below) was in May, because they have their graduation in May and I only had a few classes left during the summer and a couple of independent studies I needed to finish. Well, I finished them. My goal was to have my last paper done and have Betty turn it in on her birthday (Aug. 22), but in late July or early August, we made a trip to Mexico and were there on her birthday. Still, I finished everything before we left. Woo - whoo.
On January 7, 2008, I picked up my diploma from the school. My final grades were all completed on August 24, 2007. If you’re counting, that’s a few days shy of 14 years. Still, done is done and I’m done.
